We want you to be happy with Meniqo. This policy explains how the free trial, billing, cancellation, and refunds work.
1. 14-day free trial — no charge during the trial
Every new account starts with a 14-day free trial. We require a payment card upfront so we can charge you automatically when the trial ends, but no charge is made during the trial.
If you cancel from your billing page before the trial ends, your card is never charged and there is nothing to refund. The trial is the time we give you to fully evaluate Meniqo with no limits.
2. 30-day money-back guarantee
If you are not happy with Meniqo, you can request a full refund of your first charge within 30 days of being charged — no questions asked. Email us at billing@meniqo.com with the subject "Refund request" and include the email address of your account and the date of the charge. We will refund the affected amount within 7 business days.
The 30-day money-back guarantee applies to:
- The first charge that happens automatically when the trial ends.
- The first charge of a new yearly plan (whether on initial subscription or after switching from monthly).
- Renewals of a yearly plan, prorated for the unused remainder of the year.
3. Cancellation
You can cancel your subscription at any time from your billing page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period — you keep access to Meniqo until then. We do not pro-rate monthly plans for unused days.
4. Statutory rights
Nothing in this policy limits or removes your rights under the laws of your country. Where local law (for example, EU consumer-rights law, UK consumer law, or similar) gives you a stronger refund right than what this policy describes, that stronger right always applies. The protections in this policy are in addition to your statutory rights, not instead of them.
5. Billing errors
If you were charged twice, charged after a confirmed cancellation, or charged the wrong amount because of a clear error in our billing system, contact us within 90 days of the charge — we will verify and refund the affected amount within 7 business days, on top of any rights described above.
6. How to request a refund
- Email billing@meniqo.com with the subject "Refund request" and include the email address of your Meniqo account and the approximate date of the charge.
- We confirm receipt within 2 business days and process eligible refunds within 7 business days via Paddle.
- Approved refunds appear on your card statement 3 to 10 business days later, depending on your bank.
- When a refund is processed, your access to Meniqo for the refunded period ends and your subscription is canceled.
7. Limits
Refunds will not be processed where there is clear evidence of fraud, refund abuse (for example, repeatedly subscribing and refunding), or other manipulative behaviour — except where law requires otherwise.
Card-network rules limit refunds to transactions made within the last 120 days (179 days for PayPal). Charges older than these windows can only be addressed via account credit.
8. Chargebacks
Please contact us at billing@meniqo.com before initiating a chargeback with your bank. In most cases — a forgotten cancellation, a charge you did not recognise, a card you did not expect — we can resolve the issue and refund you directly within one business day, faster than a chargeback.
9. Account closure
Cancelling your subscription does not delete your account or your data. To request full account deletion, see Section 9 of our Privacy Policy.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Refund Policy. The version that applies to your subscription is the version published on the day you most recently started or renewed your subscription. We will notify existing subscribers by email at least 14 days before any material change takes effect at their next renewal.
